My Journey

As we progress through our career choice, more often than not we have idols that we may aspire to be, mentors that we look up to and guide us along our pathway and become part of our lives.

My Journey into Aesthetics has been filled with exceptionally talented practitioners. I had always aspired to be a great injector like Julie Horne, her techniques and results are flawless, however, her story into the industry made me feel overwhelmed as I was a big believer that I was struggling alone when I first started, she made me realise that I was not alone and was again inspired, but like Julie, I turned up to every class, training session available, was throwing out all of the questions (even the 'This is a stupid question) and showed up at every opportunity I could.

My academic knowledge goes back pre foundation course, I would follow my first trainer Charlie Eggerton, online, taking down notes, attending the very small amount of webinars available, and returning to her when I doubt. In 2019, I came across a video made by Dr. Tim Pearce, this intern changed my thinking, and it got bigger. I had my qualification under my belt and a thirst for building my new career. Listening to Dr. Tim felt soothing I could connect with the content he was sharing as I was entering my new chapter and found his tone easy to follow and absorb.

Alongside Dr. Tim Pearce, I also had a passion to learn with industry leaders and joined Harley Academy. After a few visits and meetings with some of the team, the goal set increased to one day have my own academy.

Within my development, I have four great mentors, idols, and personalities, that have helped me grow in the industry. They have shown me how to develop my skills in practice and business. On this day that I'm sharing this with you, Charlie Eggerton is a great friend and support, and Julie Horne will always be my inspiration, I am a level 7 student with Harley Academy and a trainer at Dr. Tim Pearce training academy Skin Viva, and I run my own Academy.
